Dust Allergy Quick Tips: #8 Salt Bath

With an allergy to dust it’s very likely you’ll also suffer from eczema, or another skin irritation. If this is the case, then you should consider turning to salt.  Instead of soaking in a bubblebath full of chemicals or soaps, the simple power of good old sodium chloride is a simple, relaxing alternative.

Throw a handful of salt in a bath and clean away impurities simply with no harm to the skin.  Make sure to look for pure sea salt, not the perfumed or coloured varieties of bath salt.

Salt can also make a saline solution for use in a neti pot or nasal rinse, which cleanses the sinuses of debris and allergens.
