Some house dust mite allergy suffers are prone to bouts of eczema. As well as taking anti-histamines, eczema sufferers are also often prescribed steroid creams to apply when eczema flares up. This however means a trip to the doctor and the use of a strong, medicated cream which may be too strong for use on the face.
A good tip is to look for insect bite and other off the shelf creams which contain only 1% of the hydrocortisone steroid. This is a quick fix, without a prescription which will have a great result on patches of moderate eczema.
